    Data Deletion Instructions

    This page explains how users of the Orion Marketing application (the "App") can request deletion of their account and associated data, including any data obtained from connected Facebook Pages or Instagram Business accounts. This page is provided to satisfy Meta Platforms' Data Deletion Instructions URL requirement.

    Option 1 — Disconnect a single social account

    1. Sign in to the App.
    2. Open Connected Accounts from the sidebar.
    3. Click Disconnect next to the Facebook Page or Instagram account you wish to remove.

    Disconnecting immediately revokes Orion's access token. The token and account metadata are permanently deleted from our systems within 7 days. Posts already published to your Facebook Page or Instagram account remain on those platforms — to remove them you must delete them directly in Facebook or Instagram.

    Option 2 — Delete your entire account and all associated data

    If you want Orion to delete your App account along with all data we hold about you:

    1. Send an email to marketing@orionlending.com.
    2. Use the subject line: "Orion Marketing — Data Deletion Request".
    3. Include the email address associated with your App account.
    4. (Optional) Specify whether you also want previously published Facebook or Instagram posts removed — Orion will delete posts originally published through the App on your behalf where technically possible.

    What happens after we receive your request

    • We acknowledge the request within 2 business days.
    • Within 30 days we delete:
      • Your user profile and authentication records.
      • All Facebook and Instagram access tokens we hold for you.
      • Page and account metadata pulled from Meta APIs.
      • Content (drafts, scheduled posts, uploads) you have created in the App.
      • Booking and recording-session records associated with your account.
    • We send a written confirmation to the email used to file the request.

    What is retained after deletion

    Certain records may be retained longer where required by law or financial-services regulation, including:

    • Compliance audit logs of approved or rejected content (typically 5 years).
    • Records of communications subject to FINRA / SEC / state regulator examination.
    • Aggregated, de-identified usage statistics that no longer identify you.

    These records are stored in restricted systems and are not used for any operational purpose.

    Deleting data from Meta's side

    To remove the Orion Marketing app from your own Facebook or Instagram account at any time:

    • Facebook: Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → find "Orion Marketing" → Remove.
    • Instagram: Settings → Apps and Websites → Active → find "Orion Marketing" → Remove.

    Removing the app from Meta automatically revokes Orion's access. We will detect the revoked token on the next sync cycle and purge the corresponding records within 7 days.
